Malaysia Electronic Sports Federation (MESF) is the governing body for all electronic sports in Malaysia. It was registered on the 4th December 2014 with the National Sports Commisioner (NSC / PJS). Dato’ Ananth S.Nathan helmed as president, was one of the co-founder of the association – now Federation. It has grown to 13 affiliated state associations under its new administration on June 2019. The Federation has organized the National 2019 SEA Games Qualifier and Bootcamp together with the National Sports Council (NSC / MSN) – medaling a gold medal for game title Hearthstone and a bronze medal for Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB). The Ministry of Youth & Sports has commissioned with the Federation to work on the Malaysia Esports Blueprint in November 2019 for the period of 2020 – 2025 in assisting to develop the esports ecosystem and industry.
